The house was built in a 300-year old stone wall casing structure in the French Southern Alps. The site needed restoration so that we could build the inner four level house. The structure was built on wood beams.
The total surface amounts to 164 square meters.  The interior finishing combine useful or decorative surfaces using wood, coating plaster and the native stone.
By using traditional alpine building technique from the region in the building plan, the stone and wood combination offers a genuine comfort and charm.
At the reception of their house our customers named the house “Baia Mare”, after our firm’s hometown.
